A3Day Podcast Returns to YouTube
Read the blurb so you're not confused
Hey y’all,
Leaving Spotify for Podcasters has been an adventure. Although An Album a Day is available on a variety of platforms (and let me not skip over how hard Apple made it for me to verify that I’m the actual owner of my show), the majority of my listeners were on Spotify.
The analytical dip has been atrocious. It’s genuinely 50% my fault for taking a break and 50% leaving the largest exposure possible. I stand by my choice regardless.
And the choice has led me to having to revitalize the YouTube channel.
Within a matter of hours, A3Day Podcast will be available on my original YouTube channel and YouTube Music. It’s like the channel can’t die a full death. If a person’s not in a space to pay for streaming, however, then I don’t want them to not be able to connect with the show and the community created around it.
So boom, the channel’s back. Not my face or whatever — that access will remain on Patreon — but my voice and the comment section will be alive there again. It’s an odd homecoming of sorts.
I hope this helps you to feel connected, MACGoalas. I’ve rolled out two episodes recently and patrons get access to the raw recordings of each episode and more. Join us here, there, err’where.
Bye, y’all!
